WAPDA Latest Career Opportunities Jobs. Diamer Basha Development Company (Pvt.) Ltd., a subsidiary of WAPDA, is responsible for overseeing the construction of the Diamer Basha Dam Project. This includes project management, strategic planning, supervision, and providing all necessary ancillary services. The Diamer Basha Dam will have a gross storage of 8.1 MAF of water, an installed power generation capacity of 4,500 MW, and annual energy generation of 18,100 GWH. The project is located near Chilas, Gilgit Baltistan.
WAPDA is seeking a high-caliber, dynamic, and experienced individual for the position of Chief Executive Officer to lead this significant infrastructure initiative.
Qualification
Candidates must be Graduate Engineers in Civil disciplines. Preference will be given to those holding a Master’s Degree in Construction Management, Structures, Geotech, or Hydraulics.
Experience
A minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience is required, specifically in large-scale civil infrastructure or mega dam projects.
Skills Required
Strong project management capabilities, leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 62 years.
Contract Duration
The position is offered on a three-year contract basis, including a six-month probationary period.
Pay Package
The selected candidate will receive a market-based salary in line with their qualifications and experience.
