Position: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Organization: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO)
Location: Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
Core Responsibilities
- The CEO will report to the Board of Directors and implement strategic goals set by the Ministry of Energy and the Board of Directors.
- Responsible for the management of the State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Focus areas include financial and operational excellence, stakeholder management, and leadership in strategic decision-making.
Desired Competencies
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the power distribution industry and emerging challenges.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to articulate and drive the company’s future plans.
- Leadership & Management: Strong leadership and operational management skills.
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of budgeting, planning, cost control, and performance management.
- Stakeholder Management: Building relationships with employees, regulators, and communities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance requirements.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum of a graduate degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Additional weightage for Postgraduate Degrees like MBA or Law from reputed institutes.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in governance, business administration, or related fields.
- Senior management or leadership experience in similar organizations.

Remuneration, Age & Contract
- Salary: Market-based (MP-1).
- Age Limit: Maximum 62 years.
- Contract Period: The initial contract is for 3 years and is renewable based on performance.
