Jobs at National Insurance Company Limited 2025. Position Available: National Insurance Company Limited (NICL), a government-owned general insurance organization, is inviting applications for the position of Chief Medical Officer at its Central Zone Lahore on a retainership basis.
Position: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) – NICL Central Zone Lahore – No. of Posts: 01
Qualification & Experience: MBBS degree from an HEC-recognized institute. Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably with Government/Semi-Government organizations. Age Limit: Maximum 50 years. Gender: Male/Female. Contract Period: 3 years on a retainership basis.
Job Responsibilities: Attend office from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM on all working days. Ensure medical facilities for employees and their entitled family members. Handle emergency medical cases. Examine employees and refer them to hospitals or consultants if necessary. Scrutinize and verify medical bills as per company policy. Conduct medical examinations and issue fitness certificates for newly recruited employees. Assess employees’ fitness after recovery from ailments. Maintain liaison with medical panel facilities and ensure proper treatment for employees. Enlist new panel medical facilities and negotiate rates when needed. Maintain individual medical records, especially for critical cases, to optimize costs. Advise management on healthcare precautions against infectious diseases. Provide strategic recommendations on healthcare trends to improve employee well-being. Oversee medical matters in NICL Lahore and its branch offices. Perform additional medical-related tasks assigned by management. Be available online or by phone after office hours for emergencies.
Terms & Conditions: The appointment is purely on a retainership basis. Either party can terminate the contract with one month’s notice or equivalent payment. The Chief Medical Officer will not be considered a permanent or contractual employee, and the remuneration will be classified under medical/administrative expenses with withholding tax deductions.
