Trades with Qualifications
Chemical Plant Operator
- Minimum Qualification: Matric (Science) with F.Sc or Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Chemical Technology.

- Minimum Qualification: Matric (Science) with Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical Technology.
Instrument Technician
- Minimum Qualification: Matric (Science) with Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Instrument or Electronics Technologies.
Electrical Technician
- Minimum Qualification: Matric (Science) with Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical Technology.
Civil Technician
- Minimum Qualification: Matric (Science) with Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Civil Technology.
Laboratory Analyst
- Minimum Qualification: FSc. (Pre-Engineering).
Computer Operator
- Minimum Qualification: ICS with one-year IT Diploma or Three years Diploma in IT.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates over 28 years of age as on 05 Feb 2026 are not eligible.
- Candidates must have at least a 2nd division in Matric (Science) with the relevant qualification.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s or Engineering Degree holders are not eligible.
- Those who are already undergoing or have completed an apprenticeship in any industry need not apply.
- Apply in only one trade. Duplicate applications will not be entertained.
- Provision of any false/incomplete information may lead to disqualification at any stage.
How to Apply for the Apprenticeship Program
This is a two-step application process:
Step 1: Apply on the Career Portal
- Register and submit your bio-data & academic qualifications on the FFC Career Portal: careers.ffc.com.pk.
- The deadline for submission on the portal is 26 Oct 2025.
Step 2: Register for NTS Written Test
- Apply online via the NTS website: www.nts.org.pk for the written test.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called by NTS for the written test.
- NTS Test Dates: 7th Sep 2025 and 5th Oct 2025.
