Positions with Qualifications
- Vice Chancellor, Peoples University of Medical and Health Sciences for Women (PUMHSW):
- Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must meet one of the following three categories:
- i. Academician/Medical Professional: An eminent academician and distinguished Medical Professional qualified to be a full Professor as per HEC criteria (Medical Sciences). Must have a postgraduate fellowship or a Ph.D. in the medical field (HEC/PMDC recognized). Requires a minimum of 20 years’ experience, including 10 years of administrative, financial, and academic experience in senior leadership roles (VC, Rector, Dean, Registrar, etc.) or as a BPS-17 & above officer in the Public Sector or a reputable private organization.
- ii. Cadre Officer: A cadre officer (PAS, Ex-PCS, PSS, PMS) of BPS-21 or above, holding an MBBS Degree and a Master’s degree in any discipline from an HEC-recognized university. (Note: The selected officer must resign or seek retirement from their service).
- iii. Academia/Intelligentsia/Civil Society: A candidate with a Master’s degree (preferably Ph.D.) in a relevant field, having 15 years of experience in academia, research, or a management leadership position, and possessing a distinguished research record (at least 10 publications in HEC-recognized Journals).
- Age Limit: Shall not be more than sixty-two (62) years of age on the last date of applying.
- Job Skills: Must possess analytical and critical thinking skills, exceptional written, spoken, and presentation skills, and a strong ability to analyze data. A solid understanding of financial matters and budget mechanisms is required.
- Responsibilities: To promote quality education, lead research and development projects, establish national and international linkages, and plan a sustainable business model for the university.
