A Major Recruitment Drive to Strengthen Development Programs in Punjab

Health and Nutrition Development Society (HANDS), one of Pakistan’s most prominent non-governmental organizations, has launched a significant recruitment drive to staff its projects in Punjab. This is a call for dedicated and skilled professionals to join a mission-driven team working at both the strategic provincial level in Lahore and at the grassroots district level. These roles are integral to the successful implementation of development projects that impact the lives of vulnerable communities, focusing on key areas like health, education, and livelihood.

At the strategic heart of the operation, the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) in Lahore is seeking experienced leaders. The Provincial Project Manager will be the lynchpin, responsible for the entire project cycle management, from planning and execution to monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and ensuring compliance with donor reporting requirements. This role will be supported by a team of senior managers. The Finance Manager will oversee grant management and financial accountability, while the HR Manager will lead talent acquisition and human resource development. The Admin / Supply Chain Manager is crucial for orchestrating the procurement and logistics that keep field operations running smoothly. Overseeing the data flow, the MIS Manager will manage the central Management Information System, ensuring that accurate, timely data is available for effective decision-making and reporting.

At the district level, HANDS is building robust teams to ensure effective project delivery on the ground. The District Project Manager (DPM) will be the field commander, leading all local activities, managing community mobilization efforts, and fostering strong stakeholder engagement. These managers will be supported by a team of associates in HR, Finance, and Supply Chain, as well as a dedicated IT Officer to maintain critical technological infrastructure. A key role at this level is the Quality Assurance Coordinator, who will ensure that all project activities meet the highest standards of quality and adhere to principles of accountability to affected populations (AAP). This comprehensive staffing structure highlights HANDS’ commitment to delivering high-impact, sustainable projects aligned with national development goals and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
