These positions are offered on a contract basis for two (2) years, with the possibility of extension based on performance. Security Risk Assessment Specialist
Number of Posts: One
Qualification: Master’s degree in International Law, International Relations, Security Studies, Risk Management, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized national or international university
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in security risk analysis, threat assessment, and critical infrastructure protection
Required Skills: Strong strategic planning and coordination skills, policy and manual drafting, data analysis, report generation, and presentation development
Counter-Terrorism Operations Advisor
Number of Posts: One
Qualification: Master’s in Internal Security, Security Studies, Political Science, or related discipline from HEC-recognized institution
Experience: Minimum 10 years in counter-terrorism, intelligence, special operations, or counterinsurgency
Expertise: Knowledge of regional and global terrorist networks, counter-radicalization, and policy development
Internal Security Specialist
Number of Posts: One
Qualification: Master’s in Security Studies, Law, Strategic Studies, Warfare, or related field from an HEC-recognized institution
Experience: At least 10 years in internal security, law enforcement, threat assessment, or intelligence services
Skills: Crisis response, inter-agency coordination, legal frameworks, and internal security planning
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) Specialist
Number of Posts: One
Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Commerce, Law, Information Technology (IT), or related field from HEC-recognized institution
Experience: At least 7 years in AML/CFT enforcement, financial intelligence, or compliance auditing
Specialization: Strong understanding of FATF guidelines, STRs, and international financial regulations; experience in working with FIUs, law enforcement, and international banks
Technology & Data Advisor
Number of Posts: One
Qualification: Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems from an HEC-recognized national/international university
Experience: At least 10 years in information systems, data analytics, and digital transformation
Key Skills: Secure tech platform development, knowledge of data privacy laws, ethical AI, and system integration in the public sector
Training Specialist
Number of Posts: One
Qualification: Master’s in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Public Policy, or relevant field from HEC-recognized institution
Experience: Minimum 10 years in training, instructional design, or competency-based training
Expertise: Course/module development, familiarity with security company operations, prior work with international organizations preferred
Policy & Research Specialist
Number of Posts: One
Qualification: Master’s in Management, Economics, Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field from an HEC-recognized university
Experience: At least 10 years in strategic research, governance, or policy formulation
Skills: White papers, threat briefings, inter-agency coordination, and legislative policy development
Cybersecurity Advisor & Media Management Consultant
Number of Posts: One
Qualification: Master’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Journalism, Mass Communication, Strategic Communication, or related field from an HEC-recognized institution
Experience: Minimum 10 years in cybersecurity advisory, digital policy, or media management
Proficiency: Experience in threat intelligence, strategic communication, and preparing white papers and policy briefs
General Criteria and Preferred Skills
Prior experience in sensitive assignments, interagency coordination, SOPs, vulnerability assessments, and document/report preparation is essential for all roles. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven publication record and background in national or international security-related institutions.
