Opportunities at Directorate General Health Services Sindh. The Directorate General Health Services Sindh, under the Communicable Disease Control-I (CDC-I) HIV/AIDS Program, invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals holding Sindh domicile for the following contract-based positions. The hiring is purely contractual and extendable subject to donor funding and individual performance. All appointments will be made at the Opioid Agonist Maintenance Therapy (OAMT) Center, located at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Karachi, under the management of CDC-I HIV/AIDS Sindh.
Available Positions
Psychiatrist
Eligibility Criteria:
MBBS with a Postgraduate Degree in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/HEC
Minimum relevant experience as a practicing psychiatrist
Maximum Age Limit: 33 years (age relaxation applicable as per government rules)
Psychologist
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from an HEC-recognized institute with valid registration
Minimum 2 years of experience in a multidisciplinary clinical setting, preferably related to drug treatment and rehabilitation
Maximum Age Limit: 33 years (age relaxation applicable as per government rules)
Nurse
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with valid registration with the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC)
Minimum 2 years of experience in the nursing field
Maximum Age Limit: 33 years (age relaxation applicable as per government rules)
Important Notes
All positions are based in Karachi
Fixed salaries will be offered for all positions
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant clinical, rehabilitation, or mental health experience
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview
