Positions with Qualifications

Permanent Commission (PC)

  • 160 General Duty Pilot GD (P):
    • Age: 16 to 22 years on 15 April 2026.
    • Nationality: Male/Female citizen of Pakistan.
    • Marital Status: Unmarried.
    • Height: 5 feet 4 inches / 163 cm.
    • Vision: 6/6 each eye (without Glasses).
    • Qualification: F.Sc (Pre-Engg/Pre-Med/CS), ‘A’ Level (Physics, Maths, CS/Biology), F.Sc with Physics and two subjects from (Maths, Statistics, CS, Biology), or DAE with a minimum of 65% marks.
  • 106 Aeronautical Engineering Course:
    • Age: 16 to 22 years on 15 April 2026.
    • Nationality: Male/Female citizen of Pakistan.
    • Marital Status: Unmarried.
    • Height (Male): 5 feet 4 inches / 163 cm.
    • Height (Female): 4 feet 10 inches / 147 cm.
    • Qualification: F.Sc (Pre-Engineering), ‘A’ Level (Physics, Chemistry & Maths), F.Sc (Physics, Maths & CS), ‘A’ Level (Physics, CS & Maths) or DAE with a minimum of 65% marks.
  • 116 Air Defence Course:
    • Age: 16 to 22 years on 15 April 2026.
    • Nationality: Male citizen of Pakistan.
    • Marital Status: Unmarried.
    • Height: 5 feet 4 inches / 163 cm.
    • Qualification: F.Sc (Pre-Engg/Pre-Med/CS), ‘A’ Level (Physics, Maths, CS/Biology), F.Sc with Physics and two subjects from (Maths, Statistics, CS, Biology), or DAE with a minimum of 65% marks.
  • 35 Admin & Special Duties Course:
    • Age: 16 to 22 years on 15 April 2026.
    • Nationality: Male citizen of Pakistan.
    • Marital Status: Unmarried.
    • Height: 5 feet 4 inches / 163 cm.
    • Qualification: F.Sc (Pre-Engg/Pre-Med/CS), ‘A’ Level (Physics, Maths, CS/Biology), F.Sc with Physics and two subjects from (Maths, Statistics, CS, Biology), or DAE with a minimum of 65% marks.
  • 18 Logistics Course:
    • Age: 16 to 22 years on 15 April 2026.
    • Nationality: Male citizen of Pakistan.
    • Marital Status: Unmarried.
    • Height: 5 feet 4 inches / 163 cm.
    • Qualification: F.Sc (Pre-Engg/Pre-Med/CS), ‘A’ Level (Physics, Maths, CS/Biology), F.Sc with Physics and two subjects from (Maths, Statistics, CS, Biology), or DAE with a minimum of 65% marks.

Short Service Commission (SSC / SPSSC)

  • 05 GD (P) Supplementary Course (SSC):
    • Age: 21 to 24 years on 15 April 2026.
    • Qualification: BS/BE (various disciplines), MBBS/BDS with a minimum of 60% marks / 2.5 CGPA.
  • Education Branch (136 CSC SPSSC/SSC):
    • Age: 20 to 29 years on 15 April 2026.
    • Qualification: MS/M.Phil in Maths, IR, AI, Management Sciences, Statistics with a minimum of 65% marks / 2.7 CGPA.
  • IT Branch (136 CSC SSC):
    • Age: 20 to 26 years on 15 April 2026.
    • Qualification: BS/MS/BE in Computer Science, IT, Software Engg, Cyber Security, or equivalent with a minimum of 65% marks / 2.7 CGPA.
  • MET Branch (136 CSC SSC):
    • Age: 20 to 26 years on 15 April 2026.
    • Qualification: BSc/BS/BE (4 years) in Science subjects or MSc/MS in Meteorology/Environmental Science/Physics/Maths with a minimum of 65% marks / 2.7 CGPA.
  • Accounts Branch (136 CSC SSC):
    • Age: 20 to 26 years on 15 April 2026.
    • Qualification: B.Com (4 years)/BBA (Finance 4 years)/BS in Commerce/Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 65% marks / 2.7 CGPA.
  • JAG (LEGAL) Branch (136 CSC SSC):
    • Age: 20 to 30 years on 15 April 2026.
    • Qualification: LLB with a minimum of 65% marks / 2.7 CGPA. Preference for LLM and 2 years of legal practice.

How to Apply for Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Posts

Interested candidates must register online at the official PAF website www.joinpaf.gov.pk between 28 July and 15 August, 2025. Candidates must be in possession of a NADRA Smart Card.

Selection Procedure:

  1. Online Registration at www.joinpaf.gov.pk.
  2. Intelligence Test followed by an Academic Test through e-Testing.
  3. Initial Medical Examination & Interview.
  4. Initial Physical Test (Running, Push-Ups, Sit-Ups, Chin-Ups).
  5. Test/Interview by ISSB.
  6. Final Medical Examination at CMB, Lahore.
  7. Flying Aptitude Test (FAT) for GD (P) candidates.
  8. Interview by AHQ Selection Board for CSC Candidates.
  9. Final selection by Air Headquarters in order of merit.
