Positions are available at the Pakistan Air Force PAF Jobs Join as an Airman Or unmarried male citizens to join as Airmen. Opportunities are open for various roles including Aero Trades, PF & DI (Physical Fitness and Drill Instructor), Security, MTD (Mechanical Transport Driver), Fire Fighter, and Medical Assistant. The required qualification for these roles is Matric (Science) with specific percentage requirements for different trades.

Positions with Qualifications
- Aero Trades: Unmarried Male, Age: 15½ to 20 years. Height: 163 to 188 cm. Qualification: Matric (Science) with a minimum of 65% marks. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English must each be passed with at least 65% marks.
- PF & DI (Physical Fitness and Drill Instructor): Unmarried Male, Age: 16½ to 21 years. Height: 178 to 188 cm. Qualification: Matric (Science) with a minimum of 65% marks. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics must be passed with at least 60% marks.
- Security: Unmarried Male, Age: 17½ to 21 years. Height: 175 to 188 cm. Vision: 6/6. Qualification: Matric (Science) with a minimum of 65% marks, including 60% in English.
- MTD (Mechanical Transport Driver): Unmarried Male, Age: 17½ to 21 years (18-23 for license holders). Height: 168 to 188 cm. Vision: 6/6. Qualification: Matric (Science) with a minimum of 65% marks and 65% in English.
- Fire Fighter: Unmarried Male, Age: 17½ to 21 years (18-23 for license holders). Height: 168 to 188 cm. Vision: 6/6. Qualification: Matric (Science) with a minimum of 65% marks. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English must be passed with at least 60% marks.
- Medical Assistant: Unmarried Male, Age: 16½ to 20 years. Height: 163 to 188 cm. Vision: 6/6. Qualification: Matric (Science) with a minimum of 70% marks. Biology must be 70%, and Physics, Chemistry, and English at least 65%.
- Rural Areas / Special Quota: Candidates from approved rural areas, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, and Balochistan can apply with a minimum of 50% marks in Matric (Science) and 40% in English.
How to Apply for PAF Posts
Interested candidates must register online at the official PAF recruitment website: www.joinpaf.gov.pk. The online registration will be open from 25th July to 31st July 2025. The selection process involves an intelligence and academic test, initial medical examination and interview, a physical fitness test (1.6 km run in 8 mins, 20 push-ups, 15 reach-ups, 3 chin-ups), a psychological test, a final interview by the Air HQ Selection Board, and a final medical screening. Candidates must bring their original certificates (with DMC), Smart CNIC, Domicile, and 4 attested passport-sized photographs to the selection center. No TA/DA will be admissible.
Candidates can register online, but for tests and interviews, they will be directed to the nearest PAF Information & Selection Center. The centers are located in:
Abbottabad, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Rawalpindi, Kharian, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad, Quetta, Sukkur, Mianwali, Gilgit, and Dera Ismail Khan.
