The Pakistan Army has announced a major recruitment drive for Pakistani nationals to serve the nation. Applications are invited for the positions of Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) as Naib Khateeb and various Soldier trades. These are pensionable positions offering a long-term career. Registration and recruitment will be conducted from 01 September to 23 November 2025.

General Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Married/unmarried male citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
  • Minorities: Quota is reserved for minorities.

Educational Qualifications

  • Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb): Dars-e-Nizami from an HEC-verified seminary. Arabic communication skills, Qirat, and Hifz are additional qualifications.
  • Soldier Clerk: Minimum Intermediate (C Grade). For merged districts of Balochistan, KPK, & GB, minimum Intermediate (D Grade). Computer diploma holders preferred.
  • Soldier General Duty / Driver / Military Police: Minimum Matric or above. For merged districts of Balochistan/KPK and children of martyrs, minimum Middle (except for Military Police).
  • Soldier Technical Trade: Minimum Matric Science (C Grade).
  • Soldier Cook: Preference for candidates with basic cooking experience.
  • Sanitary Worker: Illiterate (maximum education: Primary).

  • Age Relaxation: 1 year for Graduates+, 2 years for martyrs’/war-wounded families & license holders, 3 years for merged districts of Balochistan/KPK.
  • Height Relaxation: 2 inches for candidates from Balochistan, merged KPK districts, and GB (exceptions apply).

Required Documents

  • Original educational certificates with two attested photocopies.
  • Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
  • Domicile and State Subject Certificate (for AJK candidates).
  • Four passport-size photographs.
  • Documents for claiming age relaxation (if applicable).

Selection Procedure

  1. Online Registration: Candidates can register online at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk from 25 August to 16 November 2025.
  2. In-Person Registration: Alternatively, candidates can visit the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Center (AS&RC) for registration between 01 September to 23 November 2025. AS&RCs are located in Gilgit, Peshawar, D.I. Khan, Muzaffarabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, Khuzdar, Turbat, Pano Aqil, Hyderabad, and Karachi.
  3. Testing: Registered candidates will undergo various stages of testing as per Army procedure.
