Sami Foundation NGO Job Opportunities in Sindh. Sami Foundation is a well-established non-governmental and not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the socio-economic development and protection of human rights of marginalized communities in Sindh. The organization is currently implementing the Zurich Climate Resilience Alliance (ZCRA) Programme in District Sanghar and District Shaheed Benazir Abad. We are looking for highly motivated and experienced professionals to join our team under the following roles:
Available Positions
Project Manager (M/F)
Qualification: Master’s in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, DRR, Public Policy, or related field
Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in project management, including at least 5 years in climate change and resilience-related programming
Expertise: Proven ability in policy and stakeholder engagement, especially with government departments, private sector, UN agencies, and academia
Project and Gender Officer (Female)
Qualification: Master’s in Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, Gender Studies, Communication, or related discipline
Experience: 3–5 years of field experience in community-based projects focused on resilience or disaster risk reduction (DRR)

MEAL Officer (M/F)
Qualification: Master’s in Gender Studies, Sociology, Development Studies, or relevant fields
Experience: 3–4 years in MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) with a focus on gender in development or humanitarian sectors

DRR/Climate Resilience Officer (M/F)
Qualification: Master’s in Social Sciences, Environmental Science, DRR, or related discipline
Experience: 3–5 years in climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, or relevant programs

Livelihood/Economic Recovery Officer
Qualification: Master’s in Agriculture, Economics, Development Studies, Natural Resource Management, or related discipline
Experience: 3–5 years in livelihoods, economic recovery, food security, and NbS/DRR programs in development or humanitarian settings
Special Skills: Strong understanding of IPM, FFS, climate-resilient livelihoods, participatory tools like HEA, market systems, and resilience scoring

Finance Officer
Qualification: MBA/M.Com or equivalent from a recognized institution
Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in financial management, budgeting, and accounts
HR, Admin & Logistic Officer
Qualification: MBA/M.Com, MPA, or equivalent from a recognized institution
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in human resources, administration, and logistics operations
Community Resilience Officer/Social Mobilizer (M/F)
Qualification: Master’s in Social Sciences with strong skills in field facilitation
Experience: 3–4 years in community mobilization, DRR programming, and resilience-building efforts
