Positions with Qualifications
Shift In-charge (Pre-Press): Minimum Graduate with 5 years of pre-press experience (1-2 years in supervision). Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, have strong communication and attention to detail, and be available for all shifts.
Composer: Minimum Intermediate with proficiency in InPage Urdu typing. Must be familiar with editorial workflows, be accurate under deadlines, and have flexibility in shifts.
Headline Designer: Minimum Intermediate with expertise in typography, layout, spacing, and color. Must be skilled in InPage and Adobe Creative Suite and comfortable with rotational shifts.
Page-Maker: Minimum Intermediate with accuracy in formatting, spacing, and alignment. Requires editorial coordination and flexibility in shifts. Newsroom or publishing experience is preferred.
Translator: Minimum Graduate with a strong command of Urdu, English, and Sindhi. Requires experience in legal/public translation and familiarity with InPage, MS Word, and PDF tools.
Proofreader: Minimum Intermediate with an excellent command of Urdu, English, and Sindhi. Must have strong grammar and experience in classified/legal ad proofreading.
Creative Assistant: Minimum Intermediate and skilled in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) & InPage. Must have a strong understanding of visual consistency and the ability to multitask.
